Elder Candidate: Jeff Mitchell
Jeff is originally from California and after high school joined the US Army where he learned about his limitations, character, discipline and the benefits of being a good judge of character. Jeff moved to Austin and started college in 1986. He met his wife, Lillie, in Austin and they have been married for 34 years. They have 2 grown children, Emily and Jackson. Jeff graduated from the University of Texas and is dual certified in Human Resources and currently works as a Human Resources director at Capstone Real Estate in Austin.
Jeff has always been an active participant in churches he has attended. In the past Jeff has been a part of the music ministry (drums), hospitality, ushering and has been a small group leader. Jeff has a heart and passion for discipleship and has led many of his friends and family in discipleship.
Jeff tells anyone who will listen how blessed he is! If you have ever met him then you know he is “too blessed to be stressed”.
